I was using a pill before i stop it due to some side effects.my 1st day of period starts on aug.20 it lasts 4days.what happen we used condom sept.3 then it broke but right after sex i took 2tablets of yas..do u think we are safe?freakin me out coz i just delivered a bby shes 9mos. Still and im CS..shes my 2nd CS baby pls. Advise us doc..

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
2 tablets of Yaz may not give you 100% protection. So I advice you to wait till you get your periods. If you get your periods in time or 4-5 days later then no need to worry. It tells you are not pregnant. If no menses then get done home UPT done and can later confirm using blood HCG levels. If pregnant then we can take necessary measures to stop pregnancy.
Yaz (rospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. The medicine may also slow breast milk production. Do not use Yaz if you are breast feeding a baby.
