Hip Pain, Buttocks Pain, Bruised. Done X-ray. What Is Wrong?

I have been having a pain on my hip for months, it goes to my left buttock, I already had an orthopedic doctor cheked me, they did some x-rays and he said he could not find anything wrong. It is always there but it gets worse if I am in one position and move. It feelslike a bruise sometimes but I do not have any bruises/

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
symptoms that you are having are likely to be due to a nerve root compression . You need to get an MRI scan of the area done and consult a neurophysician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
For this condition you have to do stretching & strengthening exercises in which you have to stretch tight muscle & strengthen weakened ones.
Meanwhile for pain control take anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen.
Hope this helps you
Wishing you good health...
Regards.
