Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. You condition probably is a viral fever, for this you can try home remidies like black pepper soup, porridge of boiled rice, leaves of tulsi with honey, and so many home remedies, for temporary relief, so they should be taken several times.
As viral fever is a self limiting disease if you use such things you will be free during the course of fever. That is why the old people suggest to not to use medicines till three days. If not subsided they have to you have to go to a doctor he will investigate and find the type of fever and give treatment.
If you go to doctor in the first day you can have immediate relief. If it is a viral fever also to prevent secondary infection the doctor will give treatment and you will be free of symptoms.
Wishing for a quick recovery and thanks for calling.

Hello, thanks for using health care magic.
Fever is a symptom and an indication of an underlying problem be it infectious or tumoral. Antipyretic drugs such as acetaminophen or aspirin will bring down the temperature but will not treat the underlying cause of the disease.
As such a evaluation by a doctor is necessary to make an appropriate diagnosis. You talk of cough; if the cough is associated with muco-purulent expectoration, then its like you a chest infection which is causing you the fever and headache as well. If this is the case or the case of another infection, your doctor will place you on appropriate antibiotics and within 48hours you should be better.
Best regards and hope this helps you.

Thanks for posting your query on HCM,

If you are presenting with those symptoms it is as a result of an infection probably of respiratory tract origin. If there is persistent cough then you will probably need OTC mucolytics such as carbocysteine or acetylcysteine to do away with the cough then probably include acetamenophen for the headache.
Your infection might be of viral origin, reason why the fever has gone after a few days ( because if it was bacteria, the fever might have persisted for a few more days). If headache and/or cough does not alleviate after taking those medications, please do consult a doctor for proper review and treatment.

hope this helps

Hi, welcome to health care magic
You said you are suffering from head ache due to cough but you didn't mention whether are you suffering from cold along with fever and cough.
Here are the nature cure
Remedies to relieve your cough along with head ache and for fever.
1.add a teaspoon of green tea in a 125 ml of boiling water and brew for 2 mins add 1 teaspoon of ginger juice 2- 3 drops of lime and 2 pinch of pepper leave these mixture for 2-3 min in room temp then drink this tea for two times a day. This relieves you cough and your head ache may be due to excess straining of facial muscles when you cough so slightly massage your head by using any pain reliving balm. Take facial steam to relieve your head ache.
2. To bring you temp to normal cover your body with pure cotton wet cloth dipped in a ice water and cover a dry blanket above that leave it for 20 mins and after this take tepid temp bath. By doing this temp comes down.
Yoga practices. chest expansion and contraction along with hand movements that is stretch your both hands in front of your body when you inhale expand your hands when you exhale bring it normal position this will increase your blood circulation to the lungs and lung capacity too. Do this for 10 -15 times two times a day.
Get well soon. If any more doubts please keep posting me and let me know your body response towards these naturopathic and yoga treatments.

HELLO, from your point I came to a conclusion that, you may suffering from Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI). If you are having cough with copious Sputum, you can take some Herbal Juice like Basil + Honey/ Lemon Juice + Honey. Then you can do steam Inhalation (Facial Sauna) with Eucalyptus oil for three day (two times in a day). You should take rest for three days. or else you can observe fasting for three days with only alkaline juice (most probably Lemon juice honey/ Ash gourd juice/ Lauki Juice/ Pomegranate juice). try this and you will get result within one week.
