Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

You are slightly overweight. Reducing your weight will help reduce your cholesterol levels as well.

Avoid deep fried,oily,fatty food,carbonated beverages.
Avoid Smoking and Alcohol.
Regular exercise 30-45 minutes a day 5 days a week is a must.
Sign up for yoga classes/ relaxation exercise classes which might help you to de-stress and relax.
Have plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Have a bowl of salads daily with one teaspoon of olive oil.
Switch over to olive oil from your regular cooking oil. Olive oil helps in reducing cholesterol levels.
Avoid egg yolk and red meat like beef, pork, mutton which are high in cholesterol.
You can have egg whites occasionally. Lean chicken without skin and fat might be consumed once a week.

Ideally cholesterol levels should be below 200. Follow the above measures I have suggested ,and recheck your cholesterol , SGPT, SGOT levels after 3 months. I'm quite hopeful that your cholesterol levels should come down.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan.
