Heavy Vaginal Discharge Soaking The Inner Wear And Dress. How Is The Cause And Cure?
Hi,
I'm a 17 year old girl, I have sex two or three times a week and I don't have any medical conditions that I know of. For the past 6 months, I've been noticing a lot of discharge in my pants. It's even that bad sometimes it soaks through my pants and jeans and leaves a wet mark on chairs which is obviously really embarrassing. Could you tell me what my problem is and how to resolve it?

It sounds as though you have a vaginal infection.
Vaginal infections can be sexually transmitted or due to non sexually transmitted organisms.
In terms of those not related to sexual transmission- Yeast infection- this would present with yellow white discharge, may be itchy.This is treated with over the counter creams and ovules such as clotrimazole, miconazole, tioconazole.
Bacterial vaginosis would present with a discharge with a fishy odour, white - grey. It can be treated with oral or topical creams
The sexually transmitted infections that are associated with a discharge are trichomonas, chlamydia, gonorrhea. This discharge can be yellow green in colour.
To find out what is the exact cause of the infection, you may want to consider having someone take you to your doctor for assessment.
It would be important to always use condoms when engaging in any sexual activity, it would substancially reduce the chances of a sexually transmitted infection.
