Heavy Periods After Childbirth. Pain In The Abdomen. Reason?

I just went earlier and seen my ob doctor for a heavy, severe "first" period after giving birth. He attempted a Pap smear, but said it was impossible due to how much blood was up there. What is bothering me is the fact that there's little to no blood showing on my pad, only when I wipe, and my stomach hurts terribly right now. Why isn't the blood coming out of me? Almost like its stuck up there!? I'm confused. Can you help??

WIsh you good health. If you have any question I ll be glad to help.
This isnt uncommon after birth and tehre are sometimes few months neccessary till periods become regular. This is caused by endometrial hormonal changes during the pregancy and confinement.I doubt this is caused by cervical CIN or something. You should be patient and consider hrominal therapy till periods stabilize.
WIsh you good health.
