Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that she had the conception, and the conception product is obstructed at the cervix trying to expel, there is excess bleeding and clots.
Any how it may be common but it becomes unbearable, to will be a must to take her to the emergency.
Ask her to take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have a good recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
