Heavy Bleeding Period. Diagnosed Thickening Of Uterus Lining. Cancer? Opinion?
I have had very heavy bleed for 7 or 8 years big clots. I went to drs who sent me on to ob and I have very thickening of the uterus linning and have to have a D & C. I only bleed for 5 or so days each month first 2 or 3 are horrible. I'am just really concerned about the cancer part. What the dr and info i've gotten have been very positive and very low cancer rate.

The thickened lining of the uterus is associated with a heavy bleeding. It can be due to a hormonal abnormality or a cancer of the endometrium. Only a endometrial biopsy will help in confirmation.
