Heavy Bleeding During Periods. Diagnosed As Hormonal Imbalance. Taking Medication. Suggestions?

Have been suffering from heavy menstural flow from past 2years. Even clots are discharged. All tests are negative. My Gynac says that the lining of my uterus gets thicker than normal and then it sheds off. This has lead to low heamoglobin. My doc says this is due to harmonal imbalance. Its been two years I have been on medicines like Reglan nad Dupont. It is ok tempoarily but does not last long. After 3-4 months i have the same problem.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The repeated problem of heavy periods is likely to be due to dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It is best to start taking oral contraceptive pills regularly to have predictable bleeding patterns.
