OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
If you were in my clinic, I would go for a complete physical examination, followed by a pap smear, trans-vaginal ultrasound, thyroid profile, blood counts and urinalysis. I would see if you really needed thyroxine by keeping you in observation for a couple of months. Fibroids should be excluded. Endometriosis, if diagnosed would be treated initially with pain killers and oral pills based on the grading. Anemia should be corrected, so are any infections. In the end, psychological factor assessment should be done as a cause of dysmenorrhea. Hope this helps.
