Heart Valves Are Not Funtioning Well In 11 Months Baby
Hi. my 11 months baby has got fits for 20 mins . we admitted in hospital, they gave medication to control fits and put her in ventilator for 24 hrs.. Now She s able to breathe and they want take her out for ventilation. During the investion they found that there is a heart problem, volves are not functioning well .. What would be the treatment for the heart problem ? Can someone please answer that and what should we do for the baby?

I would suggest you to consult a cardiologist and get all the investigation like Echo-cardiogram in order to determine the cause for your baby's heart problem.
Their might be various causes leading to heart problem in infants which needs to be investigated throughly and treated accordingly.

Hello there..
Seriousness of the problem depends on the type of heart disease your baby is suffering, for example Congenital heart diseases like Atrial septal Defect, Ventricle septal defect are easily treatable by simple procedures. But certain Diseases like tetrology of fallot etc are life threatening and requires immediate attention and treatment!!
So A detailed investigation and appropriate management is required for your baby!!
