Heart Palpitations, Shortness Of Breath, Chest Tightness, High Resting Pulse. Treatment?
Hi there, I am a 20 year old active female- 5 8, 105lbs and I have recently been having frequent heart palpitations- where I can see my heart beating through my skin, shortness of breath-to where I have to sit down because I can t walk more, tightness in my chest/upper back and increased sweating from little exertion. My resting heart rate is 120 and I am not sure why I am getting these palpitations, trouble breathing and tightness just from walking down the street. Any help/suggestions on what this could be?

Your palpitations associated with shortness of breath can be related to your heart problem or it is due to anxiety. As your heart rate is 120, so not seems to be related to heart but needs to be proved. Get your EKG done if this palpitations occur again but do it at the time of palpitations. Than Consult your cardiologist and get to a diagnosis. It may be due to AF or PSVT but in these conditions heart rates are more than 150bpm. So consult your doctor and follow his advises.
