Hearing Problem. Applying Hydrogen Peroxide. Ear Drum Injury?

I lost my hearing in one ear suddenly a few days ago.. is it possible to injure the ear drum and not know ? I have tried hydrogen peroxide and then warm olive oil followed by a warm saline rinse and still nothing. It feels like it wants to 'pop' but it won't..
I'm sorry, I was led to believe this was free... I am on a fixed income so I guess no one cares that I can't afford to pay anything...

Hi

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query and it appears as first of all you developed sudden hearing loss in one ear than after you have tried to clean ear by hydrogen peroxide and being trapped in problems.

Here I would like to tell you that sudden hearing loss may be due to variety of causes ranging from ear wax to diseases of cochlea , this can be confirmed by a thorough clinical examination only.

As you said about injury to ear drum which is not clear to you also but you are feeling popping in ear. This again demands specialist care because in recently perforated ear drum ear drops are contraindicated while on the other hand in impacted wax one should use wax softner drops. Therefore a thorough examination and investigation of ear is must to treat it and to prevent further complications.

I hope your query is answered.

Regards.
