Hello I been getting headache all my life and when I went to a doctor about a year ago they told me it was because of me using the bathroom. Friday I just got off my period. Saturday I got a headache bad one and later on that day I got sick I threw up most of my lunch. For the past couple of days I've been having headaches and nausea but no more threading up. What does this mean?

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Headaches can not occur because of going to the bathroom, I think there was a communication gap between you and your doctor.
Your symptoms are suggestive of migraine, and they are known to get aggravated during periods.
You would improve with medications such as rizatriptan or sumatriptan.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
