my friend typed this out for me to present to a dr tomorrow, and this info is referring to myself. 1/16/13 Previous one week with dull headache, sinus area, back of head (top area). Nausea with headache as well. 1/16/13: 10 am: episode of dizziness in head. Very brief. Appx 3:30 pm: Sudden onset of severe headache, base of head (brain stem area), sharp and stabbing in nature, 7/10 with 10 being worst. Still had a dull sinus headache behind eyes and forehead . Was crocheting, reading pattern. At about 3:45 pm, looked down again at pattern and had double vision and blurriness. Lasted approximately 3-4 minutes. Seemed to be only near vision. Double vision cleared up a little bit, but words were very, very blurry. Glasses were on and she cleaned them. Still blurry. Blurriness lasted an additional 3-4 minutes after the 3-4 minutes of double vision. Total of 10-15 mins of blurriness. Called Pearl Vision. Told to go to ophthalmologist . L Blurriness cleared up. Headache was still severe. Still felt nausea. Became extremely sleepy. Slept for 2 hours. Has a history of cluster headaches – these used to be once a week. She then started 5-HTP and headaches stopped. History of severe migraines (once a year) – experiences nausea, auras, vomiting. A week ago she bumped her head on something, but does not remember what it was. Noted during a shower that she had a goose-egg. Hurt to touch it. Very tender. Top, right, back of head.
