Headache And Pain In The Ears. Medication?

For the past few days, I have had a mild headache. At first, I thought nothing of it, but since, my right ear has begun to hurt and I have not been able to open my right eye fully. It has been happening off and on, and seemed to go away when I took some aspirin. Although the condition has not been constant, I am still worried as nothing like this has ever happened before. What do I do? What should I take?

Hi,

Your description is not very clear. Answering within the limits of your description via internet and not being able to examine you, I can only say you need to visit an ENT specialist to find out. I am not suggesting or jumping the gun here - but conditions such as Bell's Palsy could also present in the way you are describing - with inability to close eyes fully and pain in or behind ear. Again, no need to be alarmed, it is not a stroke! Bell's palsy is an inflammation around nerves supplying face caused by viruses like Herpes. Anyways, your description warrants a visit to the doctor.
