Head Right Behind The Right Ear Is Red And Hurting, Have Headache, Neck Hurts. Any Solution ?
I fell and hit my head right behind my right ear really hard on the corner of my night stand. It s became red and is still hurting very much. My whole right ear (behind it) and half of my neck hurts and hurts more when I move my neck, I have a big headache and I couldn t move/sleep last night because of it. Is this something serious. I just took some advil for my headache but even when I keep my neck still it still hurts.
Dear Sir
Hello I am Dr Ravinder Sharma. On the basis of information provided it appears that you got hurt in injury in head and neck. I would advise you to consult a ENT surgeon as you may need admission, observation and may be a CT scan head and temporal bone (if there is any change in vitals). Too much of movement of cervical spine is also not good till you are attended by a Orthopedic surgeon. I would not advise you for self medication in this situation. I hope this answers your concerns. Feel free to contact me if you want further information about it
