Head Injury, Painful, Bruise, Headache, Neck Pain. Related Symptoms?

Hi. I hit my head really hard about 3 weeks ago. Was really painful and i might have lost consciousness for a few seconds. Head felt like a really bad bruise for a week so didn't go to doctor, now i'm getting headaches daily and a pain in my neck with a feeling like it's closing up. Is there any link to me hitting my head three weeks ago and the pain i'm experiencing now?

Hi,



Thank you for posting your query.



There is a slight possibility of a linkage between the head injury three weeks ago and your current symptoms.



It is possible that you had a mild subarachnoid or brain hemorrhage (bleeding in the brain), and this could lead to headache and neck pain later on.



However, there is no chance of you having anything serious at this stage, three weeks after the head injury.



It may be better to get a CT scan of the head done, if not already done.
