Head Injury, Loss Of Vision, Headaches, Bruising On Top Of Head. Internal Bleeding A Possibility?

I hit my head while taking the trash out on a huge concrete wall. It hit the top base of my head and hurt so badly that at first moments afterwards I lost vision ...however shortly after I am fine but I have suffered headaches and a bruise is what it feels like on the top of my head should I be concerned of internal bleeding???

Hello and welcome to HCM. Thanks for your query.

As you have stated that you had brief period of loss of vision and continued to have head ache following head injury, i would suggest you to see a doctor.

Alarming signs which you have to look for after any head injury - loss of consciousness, vomiting, loss of memory, convulsions, weakness of the body, loss of vision, bleeding from ear/nose.

To look for any internal bleeding CT brain is recommended.

hope i have answered your query.
Wish you all the best.
