Head Injury, Blacked Out. Tingling Sensation On Face, Bump On Face, Soreness. What May Be Wrong?

I hit my head after a utility cabinet came off the wall and hit me. I almost blacked out but and because I was babysitting my grandson I fought not going out. for three days iI had tingling down my face and a bump on the right side if my head. Now I have a very little dent where it is sore. I don't have tingling anymore. I only have emergency insurance so I didn't go to the hospital. Do u think I should visit my family doc? Thanks

Hello,
I don't think there is any need to go to hospital now because...
1st it is already three days and your symptoms have improved
2nd there is no history of any confusion, drowsiness, any bleeding from ears or nose, any blurring of vision.
Since all these symptoms are absent,it can be safely concluded that you are most likely normal. However if you do develop any of above mentioned symptoms in next couple of days,do go to ER to get a skull scan done.
If experiencing any pain or headache, you may take some ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for few days.
Thanks
