Head Injury. Have Pain In Arms. Diagnosed As Tendonitis. Done Physiotherapy. Reason?

Hi, husband bent over, banged top of head with 4"x4" lumber. April 2012, head-on! Slowy..pain went down both arms, both elbows, hands, babyfinger. Worksafe denied claim when Family Dr. stated it was tendonitis/tennis elbow. Took 7 wks in summer, helped a bit, went back to laborious work(with 2-3 less hard duties) cordozone in both arms last fall, didnt work. Now 2013, April, pain level intense. Was going to go for IMS (InterMuscularStimulation at physio) but Specialist said NO Ims, no work at all, nothing, til MRI's get done end of Sept appt. We couldn't wait, paid private for both arms for May 2013, no negative results. Family Dr. still thinks, Tendonitis(for pain is sore from elbows but up both arms to shoulder, and below elbows on arms, to hands. Got nerve blocker, muscle relaxants :( He's cried 2-3x in the past 2-3 mths in Pain. Specialist isn't till end of July to see what to do next. UGG! Physio who did treat him once with electric pads, thinks its his neck and should get MRI on neck. I think so too. He can't do anything; hold a cup, tie shoes, sleep, barely eat his food. Please..what do we do next.*we have old app't for MRI in Sept. 2013..wonder if we should keep those and change from arms to neck? Why both arms..what is it? He's stretching exercises from Dr/Physio as well..still very sore.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, yes you are going right. It is the pain from cervical spine causing whole debility andante. Change the MRI to cervical spine. I m sure you will get positive findings. Revert back to me after getting MRI done. Thank you
