Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

Possibly you have got a calcaneal spur ( an outgrowth from the bone of the heel), which many times are asymptomatic, and are discovered incidentally while investigating for some other pathology. If this disturbs your routine life as is at present, then you have few choices except to go for an injection of hydro cortisone in regular intervals depending on your tolerance and recurrence of symptoms. Apart from this, you should also go for a soft shoe wear to avoid putting too much pressure on the heel and avoid walking till your acute phase is over. Till that, you may have to take some anti inflammatory drugs regularly along with a consultation with a physiotherapist.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
