Having red bumps on arm and neck.

Hi i have developed small bumps on my arm and neck in last two days. They are turning red and I am feeling itching around them. Pharmacist recommended Benadryl, not of much help. Please suggest.

Hello Dr. i am sujeet.I having allergy problem since last two years.Some time red rashes also come on hole body.I consult Dr. he gave me Montec LC tablates for 3 month.I complete this medicine.After 5 month this allergy again starts,resently it is sivere,i am addmited in apollo hospital for two days.after tretment it gone,but after 1 week again itching starts.Sir tell me what should i do?

According to Ur complaint......
It is localised could be IRRITANT DERMATITIS...,
It is due to....local wearing of new cloths( nylon)
Irritation due to cosmetics or sprays...,
hence first ruled out the cause....avoid it.....
Treatment.....1) Apply soothing lotion...Caladryl lotion ..morning times..
2) Tab.Levocetrizine 5 mg daily night ...for 15 days...,
3) Tab...Betamethasone 1 mg..(Betnesol forte) daily for 15 days..
4) Betamethsone and Gentamycin combination cream night times o.k

This condition rashes and itching can be due to insect bite or worm infestation or eating food which is not tolerated by you, or it may be due to some drug. You can take some anti histamines. All time favorite is tab. Avil 25 mg. It is having sedation property hence don't drive or operate machinery at work place. Apply the Caladryl lotion on the affected part. You can take anti helminthitic like tab. Albendazole after checking your stools at lab. If it is not coming down or if it spreads meet a physician immediately.

Hi.. It could be an eczematous reaction.. Continue benadryl.. Skin soothening lotions such as lactocalamine are effective.. If these products are not helping, then you may need topical steroid preparations which is the choice of medications. But beware,  steroids may have to be started only after you see a doctor...
