Hi,

If you are having palpitations even after your potassium levels became normal, you need to assess if any other causes are responsible and manage them accordingly. Anxiety is a common cause of the symptoms you mentioned and can be responsible for your sleep difficulty, worrying and crying as well. You also need to be screened for thyroid disorders, but I expect your doctor must have got your blood tested for that. If your palpitations are due to anxiety, you are unlikely to find any abnormality on blood tests and would need to see a psychiatrist for proper assessment. Till you get to see one, try doing slow and deep breathing exercises as this can immediately help you feel better by reducing the palpitations.

Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
