Having Pain Under My Breast Bone, Rib Cage And Lower Back Pain. Had Water Infection, Took Trimethoprim. Is These Related? Concerned?
i have a dull pain under my breast bone all the time and a sharp pain under my rib cage and some lower back pain.10 days ago i had a water infection and was given trimethoprim by my doctor but since then i have had these pains, could this drug affect my jordeanal ulser. bisodol, rennie or anything esle is not working, help please.

hi, this pain is probably a gastric or duodenal ulcer probably iatrogenically aggravated. you should still see a doctor for further evaluation and management. thanks
