Having Pain In Chest, Shoulders And Arms. After TMT Suggested CT Angio Or Angiography. Meaning?

Hello! I am Male 36 years, 72 Kgs, 5 10 , Indian. have family history of heart disease, diabetes, blood pressure . For past 7-8 weeks, I am getting strange pain in my chest, left side which then radiates to my left shoulder and arms. Also on climbing few stairs I get breathlessness. On some physical work I get too much of sweating, and specially on physical work the pain in chest happens. I am getting too tired also these days. On consulting doctor here, I was suggested to go for ECG/ ECHO. ECG had something after which doctor asked me for TMT. TMT results which was reviewed initially by cardio-thoratic surgeon suggested CT Angio or Angiography . But on consultation with Cardiac Physician he was not too concerned and said CT Angio can be done, but nothing prominent it seems. I was asked to do Lipid profile and Diabetes test. The Diabetes was negative but Total Cholesterol was high, and so was LDL . They prescribed medicine for it and asked me to change my lifestyle and diet . I followed the advice and started going for morning walk, but to my surprise I was unable to walk much, not even 1 KM and even if i tried I became breathless, and sweat more. Still I tried but to no avail and i couldn t increase my duration of walk. Than for last 2 weeks on sitting I am getting swelling on my toes, specially soles, and even sometimes I get in between pain in my left side of chest on sitting or resting. Although the pain does not last longer hardly few seconds or maximum a minute but sometimes the pain is quite heavy. After days work I loose all my stamina and get too fatigued. Have been loosing appetite also and in between have nauseating feel. On friends advice I again went to Cardiologist, but he didn t see my TMT report that well, and said u ignore all these symptoms for time being, and said its negative. What Should I do now? What is wrong with me? I was perfectly normal till now, only for last few weeks I m unable to move much. My ECHO report gave me ejection fraction of 63 %. Rest everything was normal. Are my problems related to heart? Should I go for CT Angio or Angiography? Since my family has history of heart disease so concerned. Please guide me, my swelling in legs and feet, breathless on sitting, unable to walk much, sweating, chest pain, nausea sometimes, constipation what are these? I live a normal life, I am not mentally stressed, then why? Please advice.

Hi,
I read your query and would like to say that you don't have to go for angiography because ECG, ECHO and TMT are all negative.
If you want to do another test than you should do Angio-Ct which will show (or not) the presence of any coronary plaques.
If the angio-Ct is normal than don't worry for anything.
Hope I answered your query?
