Having Pain Behind Knee Area. No Swelling, Hot Or Discoloured. Any Ideas?
I have pain in the area behind the knee where it bends. The knee itself does not hurt at all, only the area behind where it bends. It is not swollen, hot, or discolored. I ve had no injuries. It is terribly painful when I stand after being seated for about 1/2 hours and it takes about 30+ seconds for me to begin walking after standing. Any ideas?
I would recommend you to get MRI of the knee joint. It will show whether there is meniscus injury or cartilage injury. If there is any injury then you can receive treatment accordingly. Till that time i would recommend you to avoid squatting and cross leg sitting.
