Having Pain After An Injury To Left Side Of Leg Near Knee Area

I fell down the stairs (only about four steps) while carrying laundry. My right leg was straight in front of me (it being the culprit - twisted sock in my slipper) but my left leg was kinda sideways bent toward the rear. No swelling just a bit of pain when I bend it. I have hip pain on that side when I run on the treadmill and it lasts a day or so with tylenol . Should I see a doctor?

thanks for choosing health care magic.Dear if you can run on tread mill even with pain major problem is ruled out.The injury that you had usually does not lead to serious fractures in most of cases. There is usually sprain in muscles that restricts your movements. So if you can sit, walk comfortably i think you are ok.But if pain persists beyond couple of days you need to see a doctor for further medication.
