Having Mucus Like Green Discharge From Rectum And Pain. Suggested Fissures. Had Anal Sex. Concerned
My name is india I am having a mucus like green discharge coming from my rectum that leaks all the time. I went to dayton gastro he checked and believe I have fishers cause im having pain, but whats the discharge all of a sudden. Ive never hsd this. Yes four months ago I was having anal sex like three times a month. But all this just started a month ago

As you mentioned in your query is that there is greenish discharge from anus ( rectum).
Yes your Gastroenterologist is right , this is fissure as continuous discharge is usually in fissure in anus( rectum).
However anal sex may be responsible for fissure.

Green discharge suggests pseudomonas infection.
You should do Culture & Sensitivity of the discharge, also, do CBC.
As your doctor says its a fissure, take stool softners, high fibre diet, green leafy vegetables, lignocaine gel for local application 4 times a day, Seitz bath QID i.e. take leukwarm water in a tub & sit in it so that anus is dipped in it, 4 times a day, anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics as per the Culture & Sensitivity report with your doctor's opinion.
