Having High Sugar, Other Tests Are Normal. What To Do?

My husband has high bood pressure around 95/170. He has done all the test, the cholestrol levels were normal, kidney liver etc. ranges all normal. Only his sugar is on the higher side, for which he is already taking Glucored for last one year. The ECG was also very good. Pulse around between 55-65. The doctor adivsed him to take concur 5mg. daily. Now it is 6 days, the pressure has come down a bit to 85/150. Kindly advise how long does it take to stalbize the blood pressure
