Having Difficulty In Breathing Due To Blocked Nose

Hi, Dr. Sumit
I have heavy blocked nose and ooze breathing. It's very difficult to breathe and almost panicked.
I can't even sleep. Can I have any medicine or good way to relieve the symptoms. Now GP closed and I'm worried about that. I took antibiotics and Sudafed capsules since last night, but it's getting worse.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
By your history and description, possibility of severe rhinitis with upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is more.
So better to start antihistamines and anti allergic drugs. Also take anti inflammatory drugs. Do steam inhalation and warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Avoid stress and tension. Avoid oily and spicy food. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
If you are not improving by all these than consult ENT doctor. You may need nasal spray to open up your blocked nose.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
