Having Dark Area Inside Of Eye And Dark Circles Under Eyes. Anything To Do With Liver Function. Suggest

I have a very dark area on the inside corner of my right eye which as been there for several years. I have no idea what it means & it concerns me. Does it have anything to do with my liver function or other organs? i used to have dark circles under my eyes when I was younger but they slowly went away in my thirties. I'm 58 now.
