Hi, Bhavna,
Thanks for query.
Your problem is due to untreated dandruff.
Go for complete treatment for dandruff.
If you are anemic then hair fall is also common.
Take branded Iron capsules and multivitamin supplements.
Use branded hair oil and shampoo containing vitamin E.
Do not keep your hair wet for more time.
Ok and bye.

Diabetologist Dr. Chitra Reddy's  Response
1.wash your hair regularly

2.apply oil at night and the next day wash your hair(because it is better not to go out with oily hair as dust sticks to the hair )

3.certain conditioners also causes dandruff(think before you choose)

4.selsun lotion can be helpful ,talk to your doctor about this

5.using the same comb after hair wash carries the infection again so remember wash your comb each time you wash your hair

6.caps and scarfs also carry the infections so be careful

7.try to avoid hair dyes

8.stay away from hair styling gels and creams

9.try to get rid of dandruff first and later concentrate on hair growth
(5%mintop lotion can help you with this)

application of lemon and vinegar helps you get rid of dandruff ,
but your hair may turn dry so use it with caution

what is your age?
if you are young ,reason for greying may be due to vitamin and mineral deficiencies
so take multivitamin supplements(combitt tablets may be useful)
even antioxidant supplements like lyco q also may help you

if you are old enough to get grey hair then the above measures may be less useful
just try to take extra care for your hair by following the tips mentioned
take good diet ,protien diet
apply oil ,henna ,amla powder, fenugrrek powder(menthulu)
you need to get your haemoglobin % checked
include green leafy vegetables ,cereals ,fruit juices, egg white in your diet
you need iron and multivitamin supplementation along with good protein diet for hair growth
you can use 5%mintop lotion ,it helps in faster hair growth if follicles still persist

consult your doctor and follow any of the medications i mentioned above....

using oil from hibiscus helps you grow hair but after stopping ,hairfall continues

some home tips:

apply oil frequently
frequent hair massages help you relieve from stress and helps hair growth
regular shampooing to avoid dandruff and dust due to pollution

remember 100 strands a day is normal
but dont start counting ,just try to get an idea of your hair loss

hope i answered your query
feel free to contact me for further queries
thank you
