I can not stop the odor no matter what I eat. The TMAU diet does not work for me. I have to eat something every 2 hours or I get an aura of gassy odor. How long should it take to detox or bring my levels down to a managable level. I tried epson salts baths, I take supplements (maybe too many) The odor seems to get worst. Help ... I need help

Psychiatrist 's  Response
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

From your query it is not clear about source of bad smell. This problem can occur due to psychological or medical reasons, which need evaluation.

Any smell without source can be due to olfactory hallucination, which can occur due to psychosis, seizures or some intacranial lesions.

In such case you can seek consultation from psychiatrist and neurologist. You may also require investigation like MRI Brain.

Wish you all the best.
