Having An Open Wound In Groin Area Where Hernia Repair Was Done. Mass Of Fluid Keeps Coming. Suggestion

My father has just been taken into hospital with what we thought was incontenents hospital found he has an open wound from area in groin where he had a hernia repair he has had this done twice second time being 2 years ago now he has a mass of fluid that keeps coming (no blood in fluid) also he has urine keeps flowing. They not telling us at present wanting to o more tests

Welcome to HCM.it would help if a ultrasound /CT scan were done to get a clearer picture of the problem.The re may be a fistula with the bladder or some other such problem which is the source of the urine/fluid.The open wound will also need to be treated.
