Skin problems are common in celiac disease. Dermatitis herpetiformis
and atopic dermatitis
are more common. Vitamin deficiencies due to poor absorption may also cause skin problems. Dermatitis herpetiformis vesicles and crust eruption usually with burning, stinging, and intense itching but it can be asymptomatic rarely.Atopic dermatitis presents with itchy and inflamed skin, swelling,weeping,cracking, crusting and scaling.
You can apply topical steroid
ointment and moisturizers.
You should visit dermatologist
for physical examination and biopsy may be needed.
