Have White Patches On Cheeks. Applied Vaseline, Doing Home Remedy. Underlying Cause?
Hi sir, my 3 year old son has white patches on his cheeks. It s been there for about 6 months now. I consulted a doctor advised me to stop soap,body wash, oil or any herbal powders. He told me use just Vaseline lightly for few days and see what happens. I in fact just use a mix of red sandal/ green lentils/gram flour powder while giving him bath and apply only almond or olive oil after bath. What do you think the problem could be?

The white over the cheeks of your 3 year old son may be due to B-complex deficiency or fungal infection.
Give Vitamin B-complex syrup 5 ml daily
Apply Candid skin ointment locally for 1-2 weeks.
If no improvement consult a dermotologist.
