Have Swollen Upper Mouth. No Medication Till Now. What Could Be The Reason?

I felt some discomfort in my mouth the other day. Like an itchy type of swolleness on the upper side of the inside of my mouth and didn't think anything of it but today when looking in my mouth, the swollen feeling is gone and the skin is flat but almost black! It's got a purple/red tinge to it too. What could this be? I'm scared. I'm 20 years old and I believe myself to be pretty healthy..
