Have Swelling And Redness On Inside Bone Of Foot, Pain While Walking. Took Pennsaid. Right Medication?

40yrs ago I broke my foot. At this time it is aching to the point that I cannot walk, especially in the morning.after walking and forcing my foot to function, the pain subsides, but never totally. I have been using Pennsaid during the last 4 days and feel much better. But the swelling is still there, also a redness on the inside bone of my foot

Hi
You should better rule a fracture.sometimes a minute fracture can be there. So better rule out that to the safe side.If no fracture means then you can take aceclofenac plus seratiopeptidase preparation once daily for 5 days may help you.And if it is a sprain also you need some kind of immobilization like elastic bandaging for 1 week.Hope this may help you.
thanks
