Have Stuffed Nose With Yellow Sputum, Throat Pain, Dry Cough. Monocef Or Droxyl, Which Will Prevent Severe Cough?

Hi doc...my helper at home is 16 yrs girl who weighs 45 kgs...
1)..she had runny nose on inhaling a perfume by chance..
2). It then converted into stuffed nose with mild pain in the throat.
3).the pain in throat has subsided now and she now has stuffed nose with yellow sputum and intermittent bouts of dry cough..
3)..azithromycin salts don't suit her...can u suggest if I should give her Monocef-o 200 mg or Droxyl 500 to prevent a severe cough later on...

Greetings of the day
Dear Ashima Agarwal

She seems to be having allergic Rhinitis, as it's not due to infection antibiotics won't help. Antihistamines like Cetrizine, steam inhalation and budosenide nasal spray will help.
Kindly get back to me if you have any other query
I hope it helped

Take care
