Have Sore Throat, Pus Discharge, Black Spots, Difficult Swallowing, Tried Various Home Remedies, Listerine, Lozenges

i have a sore throat on my left side my parents are nurses and had a look, it has puss and black spots and i find it very difficult to swallow, i cringe everytime, i have tried lozenges,salt water, throat spray, lemon and honey, honey water, vitaman c, eating oranges, drinking soup, gargling listrine..and i cant sleep because when i wake up its worse

Hi dear,
Looks like you are having unilateral tonsillitis- infection of throat. Show it to a ENT specialist to rule out anything serious like quinsy (Pus collection in one side) as it needs to be drained for relief. He might prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin which will definitely hasten the sore throat resolution. You have tried all home available options for sore throat and i think its time to show it to a doctor. Don't worry you will be fine. TIll then try some analgesics like ibuprofen.
