Have small, red, non-itchy bumps and patches all over stomach, back, chest, spreading. What it might be?

Hi, I have small, red, non-itchy bumps and patches all over my stomach, back, and chest and are now spreading up towards my neck area. Like I said, they do not itch and I ve been putting eczema cream on them for about three days and they have yet to dissipate. I started noticing these spots a week and a half ago. Any suggestions on what it might be? Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the query,
From what you describe, the fact that they do not itch make the possibility of an allergic reaction a bit rare.
However this spread might suggest a fungal infection that is actually spreading. A clinical evaluation by a dermatologist might be of great help. Physical examination gives a clear diagnosis and clues for appropriate treatment.
I suggest you take an appointment with your dermatologist. You might visit the emergency room as you wait to see the dermatologist.
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
