General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,

It could be clearer if I knew exactly the drugs you are taking already. However, a strict diabetic control with monitoring of HbA1c levels could actually ameliorate these symptoms. Generally, some tricyclic anti depressant drugs are generative effective (Carbamazepine) has helped many patients.
A reevaluation of the inflammatory status could be important to determine the degree of inflammation., A careful planning of steroid therapy is required especially if the inflammatory process associated with fibromyalgia is excessive. This is so because steroids could raise glucose levels.
Careful glucose control reduce frequency if infections . Physiotherapy could actually be of help.
I suggest you get a proper review with an internist.
Thanks and best regards,
Bain LE, MD.
