Have Scalp Psoriasis. Tried Steroid Based Creams With No Help. Cure?

Hi Sir I am Anuj. I am suffering with scalp psoriasis for last 3-4 years , have tried so many treatments - allopathic, herbal .. but it does not get cured. Used sterroid based creams, shampoos but no remedy. Please let me know the best way to get rid of this disease. i am very tensed as i am getting married very soon. Also, please tell me if any laser treatment is helpful in curing this disease? Thanks

Hello Abhishek.
First thing that i would like to suggest is dont get tensed, try and relax yourself.The scalp psoriasis can be easily controlled if you follow the instructions.
1.Stess is the most important factor for exacerbation of scalp psoriasis,so destress yourself.
2.Completely stop smoking and drinking as this can also exacerbate it.
3.Always keep yourself warm as cold weather can exacerbate it.
4.3 days/wk oil your scalf mildly at night and comb to loosen the adherant scales.
5.Next day shampoo your hair with coal tar shampoo and let it stay for 10 min on the scalp.Later wash your scalp completely.
6After drying your scalp and the hair completely apply "Clofoam"1/2 cap in the morning and 1/2 cap in the night over your scalp.
7.If possible expose youself to direct sunlight at 11 am in the morning for 15min.
8.continue this steps for 15 days to 1month and you will see you will see your scalp psoriasis getting under control.
If it still does not help please consult a senior dermatologist.
