Have rotator cuff tear. Surgery suggested. Pain getting worse. What to do?

I have a rotator cuff tear and I m wondering if I might have to have surgery to fix it. I had an MRI so I m not just guessing:) my first appt. is on Valentines Day. Yay:) it happened almost six months ago, and it is steadily getting worse. Some days I can barely was my hair while others its not nearly as painful? I find that odd.

IN MY OPINION IF THE POSITION IS GOING WORSE NEED TO HAVE CORRECTIVE SURGERY AS THIS MIGHT INCREASE MORE WITH TIME
NOW A DAYS ENDOSC0PIC SURGWEIES ARE AVAILABLE WITH MORE HEALING AND LESS TIME OF SURGERY WITH LESSER COMPLICATIONS
