Have Painless Keloid On Chest. Want To Remove It. Is It Curable?

I have a kelloid on my chest, though it does not pain, but its a mark in red color which i want to remove any way to this, i have visited some doctors, some say its not curable and some simply ask to apply some ointments which after using will have no effect on it, so is kelloioid curable if yes, how to cure it.

Thanks

Hi ,
Thanks for writing in.
The keloids are now very much treatable.Certain injections /cryotherapy /co2 laser can treat keloid effectively.
Visit a qualified dermatologist and take appropriate treatment for complete resolution of keloid.
Hope this helps.
I will be available for follow up.

Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Venkat Sivayogi 's  Response
Hi,
welcome to HCM,

Keloids can be treatable in the sense that their height ,width and growth. but they cant be removed completely. If you try them to remove by surgery it will recurr again.

One most easy way to treat the keloids is injection of high potent steroids like Triamcinolone for several doses directly into keloid tissue.

You consult a dermatologist for this problem. You will be treated accordingly.
