Have Painful Swelling In Butt. Scrotum Too?

Dear Dr I am a student and i have a very painful swelling on my left more less like inside part of my butt. I was looking at pictures such as hemorrhoids but it does not look anything like it its just a swelling internal so to say have it about a week. Its painful but not to painfull but now its a little bit to larger than usual , describing it its more less a inch away from my anus located when moving to my scrotum region swelling is big size of a golf ball i guess but smalle buts its big What might it be Have it like for two weeks now I guess going for my third

1. This sounds like you may have an infection of your prostate (prostatitis) [since 2 weeks have passed emergency causes can be ruled out]
2. Consult a Urologist or General surgeon for Prostate examination and urine culture so that appropriate antibiotics can be started.
3. if you are experiencing testicular pain,[because it is a sensitive issue] seek medical evaluation immediately by a trained professional.
