Have Pain Under Wrist While Lifting Objects, Swollen Vein. X Ray, Ultrasound Done. Is This The Cause For Concern?

I had a sudden pain when lifting something really small in my right wrist under the palm. The vein was very swollen and blue and lots of pain. Concerned I went to emergency room and they really didn t come up with an answer. Did an ultrasound and xray. Still a bit swollen and bruises badly. I am wearing a wrist splint as I have to work. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
Nothing to worry, due to lifting of even small weight there might be uneven pressure at wrist might have given strain of wrist muscles producing this problem.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for 2 days.
Apply some muscle relaxant cream on the part.
Ok and take care.
