Have Pain Under The Rib Cage. Had H-pylori And Dermatomyositis And On Medication. What Can Be The Reason For The Pain?
I have been having a constant pain in my left side like under my rib for some time. I have had H-pylori 3 times and I think I may have it again, or maybe I haven't fully recovered from it. I have been to the gastroenterologist and I am supposed to have a breath test again to see if I may still have it. I also have dermatomyositis which I take immuran for. I swell really bad in the late evening and I had a MRI to check my pancrease and it was normal. Can you tell me what else could be causing the pain and swelling?

The pain under the rib cage that you have could be related to dermatomyositis. Mild anti inflammatory pain killers, steroids, hot fomentation and local analgesic gels will help in treatment.
