Have Pain In The Finger. Is Swollen. There Are Swollen Bumps Near Palm. Swelling Reduced, But Painful. Treatment?

My right ring finger is sore in pain and in the a.m. feels very swollen and hard to open., especially if I had done some work the day before that I had to use a grip. About 1/2 inch away from the finger on the palm there are three swollen bumps. they subside with time. The swelling goes down gradually but the pain remains. It's been there for over a year. I have seen doctors and we are just going around in circles. Any thoughts.
